We know this sounds too good to be true. Here’s why it isn’t.

Can I switch back to my old rate?
Absolutely. If you were previously on your utility's default supply rate, you can switch back anytime but keep in mind that the utility's default prices change periodically. If you were on a competitive supply rate with a supplier prior to signing up with Arbor, that specific rate might no longer be available, but you can always switch to any currently available competitive rate in the market or back to your utility's default rate. We keep the process transparent and flexible, giving you control without the complexity.

What happens when I sign up for a new rate?
Once an enrollment with a new supplier is submitted by Arbor on your behalf, you'll receive a confirmation email with the details of your supply plan (price/plan duration/supplier). From there, the new rate will be on your utility bill in the next 1-2 billing cycles. The switch time varies for each utility company. When you switch to a new supplier with a new rate, your utility stays the same. There's no interruption in your service.

Will I have to get a new meter or buy any new equipment?
Absolutely not! Switching your electric supplier is completely seamless—no new equipment, no installation appointments, no hassle. You get the same reliable electricity through the same utility lines, pay the same utility bill, just with a better supply rate that saves you money.

What happens if I move?
Your current energy account with your electric supplier will terminate upon the end of service at your old address, but most suppliers waive any early termination fees when you move. For complete peace of mind, Arbor provides a guarantee: if you do incur any moving-related fees, we'll reimburse you in full.

How does Arbor make money?
If you switch to a new supply rate through us, one of our energy supply partners gets a new customer and pays us a referral fee from their marketing budget. We never sell your data and we only get paid when you are switched to a new rate.
